Corey Deuel is a natural talent. Born November 27, 1977 in Santa Barbara, California, he spent much of his younger years in West Jefferson, Ohio. It was in the heartland where he started playing pool at age 14 at Drexeline Billiards in Drexel Hill, PA. Deuel quickly started to make a name for himself and took to the road to hone his abilities.

He started playing professionally in 1999 and was referred to as "The Prince of Pool". While he no longer goes by that moniker, his game would be considered royal. Within 1.5 years of turning pro, Deuel won the covetous U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship in 2001. He has since continued to be one of the top players over the past 9 years and is currently ranked #3 in the U.S and #12 in the World.

His list of pocket billiards titles and accomplishments is lengthy. In addition to the 2001 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship, a few other notable titles include: the 1999 Camel / ESPN / Time Warner Cable Open, the 2001 Reno Open 9-Ball Championship, the 2002 Atlanta Pro Open, and the 2002 IBC Tour Stop 1. Deuel has also played on the U.S Mosconi Cup team 6 times.

Deuel is noted for his flawless mechanics and his heightened abilitiy to read a rack and table. A gregarious individual who enjoys exhibitions, Deuel is a great addition to Team CSI. Any group or pool room who books him and fellow Team CSI members, will not be disappointed.

In addition to being a gifted pool player, Deuel is a well regarded golfer who plays to a scratch handicap. In addition to being a member of Team CSI - American Grand Masters, he is a player representative for the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Diamond Billiard Products.
